DELL PDAs

Dell Inc. develops, manufactures, sells, and supports personal computers, servers, data storage devices, network switches, software, televisions, computer peripherals, and other technology related products. The company has its operations based in Round Rock, Texas.

Dell grew during the 1980s and 1990s to become, the largest seller of PCs and servers. In 2002, Dell attempted to expand by tapping into the multimedia and home-entertainment markets with the introduction of televisions, handhelds, and digital audio players. Dell has also produced Dell-brand printers for home and small-office use. Dell Inc. is a listed company on NASDAQ.

The first model in the Axim series of PDAs was launched in 2002 and the latest model appeared in 2007. The first Axim x5model had such features as 300 MHz Intel XScale PXA250 Processor, 32MB RAM, 32MB flash ROM, a Type II CompactFlash Slot, an SD/MMC Slot, a 16-Bit TFT display, speaker, microphone, and a base price of $249 USD.

Every successive model possessed more advantageous and useful features in comparison to previous ones. Dell PDA Axim x3 is small in size, lighter in weight with built-in Wi-Fi. An outstanding feature of the Dell PDA GPS is that it is the first Widows device that has wireless retailing.

Dell PDA x30 includes built-in features as Bluetooth, 64 MB of Intel StrataFlash ROM, 802.11b Wi-Fi certification and 64 MB RAM. The x50 and x51 models possess more number of updated features and capabilities. Dell PDAs have standard displays and projectors, faster and capable engine and lower power consumption.
